Episode 38 - Goodfellas

n this episode the boys are joined by Ron Richards (of Ifanboy) to discuss Martin Scorsese's 1990 mobster classic "Goodfellas" starring Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci. Ron regales the boys with tales of growing up in New York, the subtle art of saying something without saying it, and how to properly stir the sauce. Topics of discussion include the brilliance of Paul Sorvino, the interesting narrative techniques, the accuracy of the locations, the representation of the Italian-American experience, the deconstruction of Mafia archetypes, and if this is the last great Scorsese film or not.

Episode 37 - Paranoid Park

In this episode the boys do their best to discuss Gus Van Sant's 2007 indie drama "Paranoid Park" but wind up having to agree to disagree.
